This was my first time really doing a session in the seaport area of Boston… I’m so glad that Meg and Sean recommended it! There are so many places to get the city skyline in the background, and it’s a pretty nice area to walk around, too. I also had some good company. :) I will see you very soon for the wedding in June – can’t wait!

I love these images that my assistant Heidi captured while we were doing the formals.

Heidi was able to get these shots of the toasts, while I got the reaction shots of Liz & Ben.

The fireworks were a surprise treat for the guests – they were amazing!

When we came back in from the fireworks, this candy buffet was all set up. Complete with floss and toothbrushes!

Liz and Ben are such a sweet couple! I photographed their wedding last fall, and had met them the previous year at Susan and Nate’s wedding, where Ben was the officiant. My assistant Heidi and I were excited to make the trek to Saratoga Springs, NY – I had never been there before, and I hope to go back when I have more time! Such a neat place. Liz and Ben had their outdoor ceremony in beautiful October weather on the grounds of the Saratoga Polo Association. There were so many amazing details, and it was a wonderful party! More on that in the second post this afternoon, I have to split this one up into two because there are a lot of images!

As we were heading out, we discovered a trail of post-it notes that Ben left with a sweet message to Liz. Awwww….

These kids were so cute… And did *not* want their picture taken :)

I headed down to Salem a couple of weeks ago to capture these in-home photos of Erin and her family… Her son kept us all entertained for the entire session – what a cutie!
