And now, Jane and Daniel – part 2 :)
After our quick stop at the deCordova, we headed to the reception at the Pierce House, which is literally less than five minutes down the road! A really beautiful spot, and my first time there. The gardens were gorgeous, and the house too. A perfect day!
The wedding party was ready to go, as we rolled up to the historic Pierce House, for the formal photos. I couldn’t help but capture this little moment “in-between.”
And now, properly, the gorgeous wedding party! I am really loving this trend (as in Alaina and Josh’s wedding previously), of having several colors for bridesmaids dresses and different necklines/lengths.
Some thoughts from Jane and Daniel about their first dance…
I was so looking forward to getting married to the love of my life and enjoy the day with friends and family. I was emotional during our first dance, because the song has such a strong meaning for us and the reality of the ceremony had finally sunk in. – Jane
I was so happy to be marrying Jane. Having the weight and stress of planning removed, I felt like I could relax and enjoy and appreciate this incredibly special moment in my life. During the dance, it was hard to believe that our wedding day had finally come. – Daniel
A sweet mother & son dance (and Daniel’s father looking on).
Lots of laughs! A few tears too…
This is why I love venues like the Pierce House – lots of room for guests to take a break, maybe a little walk to see the scenery, stay in the tent and dance it up, gather outside with friends to chat. And of course it’s great for photos!
And then there’s the ever-important s’mores break!
