Here is part 2 of Kristin and Tom’s Cape Cod wedding at Ocean Edge Resort… We made it there with enough time for them to enjoy the cocktail party, yay!

There were several funny and touching toasts (one of my favorite parts of a wedding)

The adorable flower girl… She almost got a chunk out of that cake! She’s too cute.

All of the married couples lined up on the edge of the dance floor, ready for the anniversary dance to begin.

It was really sweet when the last few couples left the dance floor and the one remaining was Tom’s grandparents.

I had the pleasure of being part of Kristin & Tom’s wedding in May – what a beautiful day for a wedding on Cape Cod! I was really looking forward to it, because I was lucky enough to also photograph her sister Kelly’s wedding (Kelly & Cory) two years ago. I always love re-connecting with awesome families! And I remembered Tom from that wedding (and his excellent dance moves, which did not disappoint this time around either :)).

The trolley took us to a super-secret beach location that Kristin had scouted out earlier that week – no one was there! It was amazing… I honestly have no clue where this is, I was just following the trolley and trying not to get left behind :)

What a beautiful group! And I’m loving the new trend of bridesmaids dresses with pockets.

While we were heading up the steps to leave, Tom grabbed a small rock for a souvenir. Aww…

I loooove Pinterest, for both personal stuff (it’s great for finding/organizing recipes, diy/craft projects, home inspiration, fashion, and a lot more), and for wedding stuff – so many ideas, inspiration boards, etc! Starting with something older since this wedding never got blogged – Corinna and Bryan were married in 2006 on the Cape, with the reception at Corinna’s parents house, with the tent set up in the backyard. I adore all of the details, as well as the pink & orange color scheme for this wedding.

I think these dangling flowers get a pretty good bang for your buck when it comes to floral decorations.

I’ve been so lucky to have so many fun, easy-going couples as clients, and Meghan and Dennis are certainly no exception! We were lucky with the rain that day – we almost decided not to go out to the beach for photos, but finally decided to risk it for a few minutes… I’m glad we did – I know Meghan really wanted beach shots, and I love the way they came out! I also got to drive a golf cart, which is always fun. Once we got back the party started, and I think Meghan was on the dance floor the entire night!

A personal highlight – it was Meghan’s parents’ anniversary that night – I think 35th? And the DJ played a special song to commemorate it for them – Meghan and Dennis joined them on the dance floor along with Meghan’s sisters and their husbands (photos of it are below)…
