Nashua Country Club Wedding || James and Sarah
Sarah and James are such a sweet and fun couple, and I was thrilled to be a part of their Nashua Country Club wedding! There are so many photos of people laughing, which I just love. It was such a gorgeous, joy-filled day!
Ceremony: Our Lady of the Cedars
Reception: Nashua Country Club
I asked Sarah some questions about the wedding day, her comments are in italics throughout.
Our main goal for our wedding day was for everyone to have a good time. We had lots of family and friends who traveled from far away from our wedding, so we wanted everyone to have a good time. We wanted to take advantage of the rare opportunity of having everyone together!

The morning of the wedding the girls had breakfast and then got our hair and makeup done. The boys were at a house that James’s family had rented. They spent the morning hanging out relaxing.
Thanks to my second shooter, Maxine, for getting these photos of the guys getting ready!
The most anticipated moment of our wedding day was seeing each other at the church for the first time. I was feeling pretty anxious beforehand, and I knew I would feel better once I saw James…and I did!
Sarah’s father performed the ceremony, so he had some key insights into the couple and their relationship!
During the ceremony we felt both nervous and excited. It’s a moment that we had waited for for so long, so it felt a bit surreal to actually be there at our wedding!
I think we both felt a little uncomfortable for the first dance at first, but James started to crack jokes which made me relax and enjoy the moment.
What did you like best when working with me (as the photographer)?
We loved that we could enjoy the day as it naturally unfolded. We really could barely tell you were there!
Just going through these photos makes me laugh - Sarah’s smile is infectious!
By the time the party started we felt like we could really relax and just enjoy celebrating with our family and friends!
It was so much fun to look through all of the photos! We especially loved seeing all of the candid photos of our friends and family.
What is one suggestion you have for other couples who are planning their weddings?
Enjoy the day because it is special, but remember it’s only one day! It will go by really quickly, so don’t put too much pressure on it.
I absolutely love that advice!
Thanks again Sarah and James for inviting me to photograph your wedding at Nashua Country Club!
