Canoe Club Wedding || Briana and Mark

“And the world has somehow shifted
All at once everything is different
Now that I see you” - Tangled, from the song “I See the Light”

I just had to choose a Disney princess movie for a quote for Briana and Mark’s wedding at Canoe Club! Briana had a fairy tale vision for her wedding day, and she looked just like a princess in her beautiful ballgown! It was such a perfect day for a beautiful couple (inside and out!).

Ceremony and Reception: Canoe Club Ballroom, Bridgewater, MA

I’ve asked Briana about some of the aspects of the wedding day, and her answers are throughout in italics.

What were your goals for your wedding day?

I cared about everyone dancing and photos! My goal was to look beautiful and everyone have a fun time.

So sweet, Briana and her mom…

I just love that Briana stopped the wedding trolley to get ice cream on the way! That’s a true New England girl.

Then we headed to this beautiful park that is right next to the Canoe Club for some photos. The sky threatened rain, but we got lucky and got all of our photos done!

One of the most important part of the day for us was taking photos at the park! I wanted the memory of those photos forever and with the weather and the sun out and the people. It was just perfect for what I dreamed up forever with Mark. It captured the look and love I wanted and was so happy we got it.

The Canoe Club has this amazing spot for an outdoor ceremony with this patio and gazebo area.

During the ceremony I was so happy I was floating down the aisle!

So gorgeous! Fairy tale, right?

I also love that they brought their adorable dog Biff along for photos.

We were giggling the whole time during the first dance. We thought we told the DJ to shorten the song but he didn’t so we had to dance funny because I couldn’t put my arms up in my dress.

At the reception I was on top on the world - everyone was smiling and enjoying their tables and everyone ended up dancing all night. It was great!

What is one suggestion you have for other couples who are planning their weddings?

Don’t over think anything! The little things don’t truly matter but if you want to have cookie favors that look like your dog, well then you go for it and make the day what you want and no one else.
