Glen Magna Farms Wedding || Ashley and Mike

Well, it’s been a year since this amazing Glen Magna Farms wedding, so happy anniversary (sorry a bit late :)), Ashley and Mike! It was so wonderful to be a part of this beautiful day. Perfect weather, and one of my most favorite wedding venues north of Boston, Glen Magna Farms.

Glen Magna is a beautiful spot in Danvers, MA. It’s a historic estate with gorgeous gardens. There are so many amazing spots there - from the grand old tree, to the wisteria-covered columns (in the spring), statues, tree-lined walkways… I’m so glad that I got to be a part of Ashley and Mike’s wedding at Glen Magna Farms! It was a super fun day.

Ashley and Mike, like most of my couples, were a bit reserved in front of the camera, but in the excitement of the day, their love and sweet looks shine through.

All of the beautiful details and moments from this Glen Magna wedding below!

Ashley and her bridesmaid got ready at the bridal suite at Glen Magna. Always a favorite spot, with the big beautiful windows and a really elegant, classic room that has just the right amount of charm and personality. There is also a space right next door where Mike and his groomsmen hung out before the ceremony.

Many thanks to my second shooter, Mary, for getting these wonderful shots of the garden, and of Mike getting ready in the Groom’s Suite.

There are so many great spots for photos at Glen Magna! And I just love this romantic bouquet. So pretty!

Always a favorite spot for wedding photos at Glen Magna Farms - there is this old tree (which has unfortunately gotten a bit too much attention with many people carving their initials in it)… It’s now protected, but we can get in there for a few shots!

Wow! These bouquets (and all the florals) from Currans Flowers were amazing.

Another great spot for photos! I love this pathway with trees on either side…

Love this shot (above) that Mary got, so mysterious, like going into the Secret Garden.

I can’t think of a more perfect backdrop for a wedding ceremony… The garden at Glen Magna Farms is always beautiful, no matter what the season!

It was so sweet… Ashley might have been a little bit nervous being in front of everyone at the ceremony, but when she held Mike’s hands it seemed like she just totally relaxed! They are a totally sweet couple.

I always try to get some of the parents’ reactions during the ceremony if I can. Love that we were able to capture this!

Just the look between the two of them as they walk back down the aisle for the recessional. So calm and happy just staring into each other’s eyes…

Glen Magna has a new tent set-up for weddings, which is fabulous! It backs up right into the garden, so it is a seamless transition from ceremony, out to cocktail hour on the lawn in front of the estate, and then into the tent for the wedding reception. I love that I am able to have plenty of time to get in there at any point to get those detail photos of the set-up.

Their wedding cake topper (two cats) was right up my alley!

A very relaxed cocktail hour out here on the lawn - love the addition of some games.

Whoohoo! Time to get the party started!

This was such a fun first dance!

Ashley and Mike are such a fun couple, I loved hearing the toasts of how they met and got engaged.

This dance party was amazing! Keep your eye out for the guy in suspenders, he was pretty much king of the dance floor all night.

Don’t stop here! I’ve got lots more weddings at Glen Magna!
