What a fun throwback wedding today! Not too much of a throwback, it’s from 2019, but I never got a chance to blog it (sooo many photos to go through!)… But I wanted to share this fun Greek wedding at the BU Metcalf Center.

I don’t often get to shoot Greek weddings, but I always love it when I do! I love the dancing, and the traditions. Eleni and Matt’s wedding definitely did not disappoint! They hired a special band (in addition to a more traditional American wedding band) to do the Greek dancing songs (there are so many! And so many different dances!). Eleni’s parents also brought back the favors for all the guests from Greece. And then of course the absolutely beautiful wedding ceremony at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral of New England. I walked into the cathedral and literally gasped from how gorgeous it is in there.

The couple chose to not do many “getting ready” photos before the ceremony so that I could stay longer into the reception, but I did catch a few photos of the guys at the church, as well as Eleni’s arrival.

We were able to grab a few photos on the steps of the church before we completely lost the light, and then on to the reception at the BU Metcalf Ballroom!
