Harry Parker Boathouse Wedding || Carolyn and Niko
I just love Carolyn and NIko's "meet cute" story! They met through their friends in Connecticut, while racing sailboats (against each other). Then they found out that they lived only five blocks away from each other in Boston! Of course, their wedding had a strong boating theme. They got married outside the Harry Parker Boathouse in Brighton (which is also home to community rowing). I was so excited to see this building in person, it's pretty amazing - and a stunning backdrop for some wedding photos!
Wedding ceremony and reception: Harry Parker Boathouse, Community Rowing
From the couple:
Our goal was to have as much fun as possible, including good food, friends, and dancing to celebrate our wedding and give thanks to our family and community.

The wedding ceremony at Harry Parker Boathouse was right on the dock outside - it's amazing they fit so many people on there!
I put together this panoramic photo of the ceremony - kind of weird, but I like it!
I think we were both most nervous for our vows which we had written together (and procrastinated writing, together.).
More sailing details - of course the name cards, and the sea-colored table numbers and napkins.
The whole day was wonderful. We had so much love and support from our friends and family that I felt extremely loved through every part of the day.
On seeing the photos for the first time: I'm pretty sure I (happy) cried, and then I laughed, I got to relive all of the emotions of the event.
Thanks, you two! I hope you're having a happy, sailing-filled summer! I loved being a part of your wedding at the Harry Parker Boathouse!
