Waltham Estate Wedding || Fara and Tony

Oh, a Lyman Estate wedding! Always one of my favorites. Fara and Tony’s was definitely a pleasure to be a part of. So laid back, yet so perfectly put together at the same time. How do you do that? Please share your secrets! (I have a feeling the amazing staff at Lyman might have something to do with it ;)). It really was a beautiful summer day, and I’m so glad to finally share it with you.

Everything at: Lyman Estate, Waltham, MA (A property of Historic New England)

Fara was kind enough to answer some questions about the wedding day for me, you’ll see her comments in italics throughout. I love to hear about how everything went on the other side of the lens! And of course, how they met:

We met at a superbowl game, the year the patriots won their 4th Superbowl Championship. We went on our first real date after that and had an instant connection and started falling for each other. Soon we became best friends and we knew then that we wanted to spend the rest of our lives together. We are very lucky to have found each other!

The bridal suite at Lyman always has such great light!

Fara looks so stunning in this dress! I love the style.

A really sweet walk up to the first look…

The Lyman Estate, as always, a perfect backdrop for a wedding.

Our goals for the wedding day was to make our family and friends happy and to share with them our love for each other.

Our vision was simply to make sure our guests felt comfortable. This included ensuring that they enjoyed the food, was happy with their seating arrangements, ability to bring their kids along, had some fun activities (lawn games), enjoy our first dance performance, enjoy the live music for them to dance to, etc.

I love how they did toasts out here on the big porch.

We also liked how you took candid pics of the wedding and that really portrayed how the actual event went. It brought memories to the actual day and reminded us all how great the day was.

The party was a blast. All our guests seemed to have a good time and that was what was most important for us. We wanted everyone from our guest and our vendors to just have a good time and be happy at our wedding.

What is one suggestion you have for other couples who are planning their weddings?

With all the planning and preparations, hiring the right people to do the job is very important. Experienced vendors makes the event run smoothly and stress free.
