Seaport Boston Engagement Session || Carey and Kelsey
Wow! What a fun day for Carey and Kelsey’s engagement session in Boston’s Seaport area. It was our first time meeting and I just have to say that their smiles were contagious and it was so great to spend a bit of an afternoon with them.
Because of timing issues, we had to shoot in the middle of the day (I wouldn’t normally recommend this, but we made the best of it, I think!). We found a nice shady spot to start with at the Institute of Contemporary Art. I’ve never actually been here before, but I can’t wait to go back! (And actually inside the museum as well :))
Then we headed out to go on the Harborwalk to get some of those beautiful Boston skyline backdrops.
A note about how the couple met and got engaged, from Kelsey: We started like most great love stories do now a days, online. I knew from our first date and it took my fiancée a little longer :). After a year and a half of dating (a year of which was in a pandemic) we got engaged. My fiancée, Carey, proposed to me using a view finder. It was perfect!
Gorgeous!
We found some other neat spots to beat the heat and get out of the sun!
And recently I got the absolute sweetest note from Kelsey which definitely made my day :D
THANK YOU so much for sending the prints and including the one of us at the light pole. We both love showing off our photos and you captured us perfectly. It’s honestly hard to pick a favorite one because they are all so great. I have no doubt that we made the right choice in deciding to have you as our wedding photographer! I know our wedding day will be captured perfectly and most importantly authentically!
I cannot wait until 2023 for your wedding in Salem!
