House of Seven Gables Wedding || Carey and Kelsey
After shooting weddings all over the North shore for years, I’m so surprised this was my first wedding at House of Seven Gables! But what a perfect day it was. I knew it was going to be a super fun day after Kelsey and Carey’s engagement session in downtown Boston on the waterfront.
And I think I’ve mentioned this before, but Salem weddings always have a special place in my heart! My husband and I had our wedding in Salem almost fifteen years ago. And Carey and Kelsey had an awesome day, combining the historic and modern sides of Salem. They got ready at and had their reception at Hotel Salem, which is right in the heart of the cobblestone walkways downtown. And their wedding ceremony was at the gorgeous House of Seven Gables, just a short trolley ride away!

I love these shoes that they both wore!
An amazing view at the top of Hotel Salem for their first look and a few photos before we headed to the lobby.
I couldn’t get enough of this modern striped mural in the lobby at Hotel Salem. And then Kelsey and Carey in their white and black dresses! Iconic.
If we’re in Salem, I absolutely have to do some photos in historic Derby Square. I love the look of the old town hall in the background, along with the brick walkways.
And beautifully modern Hotel Salem right in the middle of everything! Love it.
We had some time while guests arrived in shifts on the trolley, so I enjoyed taking some photos around the grounds of the House of Seven Gables before the wedding ceremony began. The gardens were amazing too!
Oh the emotions (and the laughs) while Kelsey had her parents walk her down the aisle.
An accidental panorama of the harbor!
Carey and Kelsey incorporated a big pride flag at their engagement session, so I love that we were able to include these little ones here.
And of course we had to take advantage of the beautiful gardens at the House of Seven Gables for some photos!
An awesome party with lots of help from DJ Wyatt and of course the incredible friends and family who were ready to dance all night!
