Portsmouth Engagement Session || Ryan and Sydney
One of my favorite spots to return (for engagement sessions and just to hang out!) is Portsmouth, NH. I just love this little city. Only about a half hour from my home in southern New Hampshire. I was so happy when Sydney and Ryan decided to do their engagement session downtown last fall. They are also getting married in Portsmouth later this year, and I can’t wait!
We started in Prescott Park which still had lots of color (and we ran into a wedding party also doing photos there!).
There are all these historic buildings around Prescott Park as well which make for some fun and varied backdrops around Portsmouth. Strawbery Banke, the outdoor history museum, is also right there. We didn’t make our way into the museum (I’m also not sure about their photo policy), but it’s always a nice place to visit!
We then started walking into the heart of downtown Portsmouth, and took advantage of the setting sun for some glowing photos along this main street.
I can’t wait for your September wedding, Sydney and Ryan! I know it will be just as fun and full of laughter as your engagement session :)
